LVD Fabrication Systems (“LVD”) is the data controller for personal data collected via lvd-fabrication.com. Our registered office is Nijverheidslaan 2, 8560 Gullegem, Belgium.

• Technical logs generated by your browser: IP address, user-agent string, pages visited, referrer URL, session timestamp.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

LVD processes personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR:

• Consent — inquiry form submissions, newsletter subscriptions, cookie preferences.
• Legitimate interest — follow-up communication after a technical enquiry, fraud prevention, service improvement.
• Contractual necessity — where personal data is required to fulfil a commercial agreement or applications-lab trial.
• Legal obligation — where retention is required by Belgian, EU or equivalent law.

4. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data to: respond to inquiries; issue commercial proposals; administer applications-lab trials; maintain service agreements; send transactional communications; improve the Site and our technical publications; comply with legal obligations.

Personal data may be shared with LVD regional affiliates in the Americas and APAC, authorised distributors under NDA, and service providers (CRM, email, hosting) that meet GDPR-compliant data-processing agreements. LVD does not sell personal data.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Inquiry data is retained for 36 months unless you request earlier deletion or a commercial relationship is established, in which case retention follows the commercial contract.

LVD maintains technical and organisational security measures aligned to ISO 27001 principles, including encryption in transit, role-based access control, and periodic internal audits of processing activities.

11. Changes to This Policy

Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated via a Site notice and, where appropriate, direct email to subscribers.
